WinGuard training and support, close to your operation.

A security management system is only as good as the people who operate it and the care it receives. We train your team on your real procedures and look after your WinGuard system in operation, even if we did not install it ourselves. Complementing the courses and manufacturer support from Advancis.

01 Training

Training by role.

Operation, administration and responsibility need different priorities. We practise on your system, with your floor plans and response procedures and with example events from your operation.

Operators

Control room, reception or security service: accept, handle and close events, use floor plan and cameras, follow response procedures, respond correctly when a system has a fault.

Administration

Users, rights and profiles, data points, locations and graphics, adjust texts and procedures, data backup. So that small changes stay in-house.

Managers

Security or operations management: responsibilities and Event Routing, reading logs and reports, commissioning and documenting changes properly.

02 Courses

Academy or training on site?

The two complement each other. The Advancis Academy teaches the product, we practise with your team on your system. Anyone who configures WinGuard themselves benefits from both.

03 Support & maintenance

Faults along the chain.

When a fault occurs, what matters is where the cause lies: in the subsystem, the connection, the network, the server or operation. We narrow it down step by step and keep your system stable with planned maintenance.

System check as a starting point

Version, documentation, interfaces and open issues of your system. The result is a clear list: now, planned, later. Even if we did not install the system ourselves.

Planned maintenance

Check system status and logs, verify data backup, prepare and apply updates under control, document changes.

Narrow down faults

We follow a message from the subsystem via interface and server to the operator and so find the point at which it gets lost or arrives incorrectly.

Clear agreement

We set down maintenance scope, availability and escalation in writing, to suit your operation.

04 Collaboration

Who takes care of what.

Manufacturer, system partner and your team have different tasks in operation. This is how they fit together:

Advancis, the manufacturer

Develops WinGuard and provides updates, security patches and bug fixes. With a Life Cycle Services contract, according to Advancis, these are included for the contract term, along with adapter adjustments and access to the manufacturer hotline.

E&S Rose, the system partner

Your contact for the system: configuration, connections, floor plans, applying updates, narrowing down faults and training your team. Where necessary, we involve Advancis.

Your team

Operates the system, makes the first assessment of faults and reports them with the right details. That is what the training is for.

Reporting a fault

These details help immediately.

The more precise the first report, the faster the fault can be narrowed down:

With an agreement

The agreed reporting channels apply.

Without an agreement, you can reach us via the form or by phone. We get back to you personally, usually within one working day.

Questions

Questions about training and support.

Do you also train on systems you did not install?

Yes. We first get an overview of your system, floor plans and response procedures and then train on your actual procedures.

Does your training replace the Advancis Academy courses?

No, it complements them. The Academy teaches the product in general, we practise on your system. Anyone who configures WinGuard themselves should also attend the Advancis courses.

Do you provide maintenance and support for existing WinGuard systems?

Yes, including systems installed by others. We start with a system check and then agree the scope of maintenance, availability and escalation.

Do we need a Life Cycle Services contract from Advancis?

That is your decision. According to Advancis, it includes updates, security patches, bug fixes, adapter adjustments and access to the manufacturer hotline for the contract term. We explain what this means for your system.

What do you need to narrow down a fault?

System or project, WinGuard version, affected interface and adapter version, operating system, since when and how often the fault occurs, the error message and the last change to the system.

The next step

What does your team need?

Training, maintenance or a specific fault: briefly describe your system and your request. We get back to you personally, usually within one working day.
